Hosting
Hosting costs money. If I could give it away for free I would, but I can’t.
What is hosting and why do I need to pay for it?
A website is a collection of files that need to be stored on a server somewhere. There is no free solution for this. I can do everything else, but I can’t give you free hosting.
After you receive your free website, you will need to host it with me. The cost is $47/month. This ensures:
- That the website receives the technical maintenance required to keep it healthy, safe, and functioning well.
- That the licenses I am going to use in building your website remain free. Good websites require licenses and my hosting covers these licenses.
- That you have access to my support after the fact. You are going to need help from time to time and paying for hosting gives you access to me and ensures I have the access I need to help.
Hosting includes:
- Fully managed hosting
- Access to many plugin/theme licenses for WordPress
- Excellent security
- Free malware removal
- Three levels of backups
- Status monitoring
- Expert handled Plugin/Theme/WordPress updates
I am not going to build websites for people to taken them to low cost hosting and have them ruined through neglect. This small monthly cost ensures my investment of time is protected and will continue to function well for the intended purpose.
